Membership & Auditions

Congratulations to Our New & Returning Members!

Congratulations to Our New & Returning Members!

Thanks to all of our musicians and families who joined us for auditions this year!!

More than 80 musicians auditioned for placement in one or both of our two ensembles: Sinfonietta and Symphony.

If you were unable to make our auditions, it’s not too late!! We are still looking for musicians, particularly Violists, Kontrabass, Double Reeds and Brass. Please contact Dr. Reese for more information.

The list below is our initial placement guidance. Everyone is welcome to attend our music reading sessions on 1. September 2025 to see what our music looks like for the coming year; it’s a particularly good chance for musicians who have been offered places in both groups to evaluate how our Sinfonietta and Symphony fit for them.

During our first few rehearsals, if members find their assigned groups/parts too hard or too easy; please let us know!

Seating placement will be evaluated during the first half of our Fall semester, and will be announced prior to the Herbstferien break in October.

For new families, a walkthrough and translation of the KMS registration process can be found here.

First Rehearsal will be our new music reading session at Landstuhl Sickingen Gymnasium!

Sinfonietta will begin at 6pm and Symphony Orchestra will begin at 7pm.
